Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026

The short version: Hundo is an early-access tool that helps your family keep track of its money and documents. Use it for your own family, keep your login safe, and understand that it’s a record-keeping aid — not financial, tax or legal advice.

1. Agreement

By using Hundo you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. Hundo is operated by Akash Rajagopal; contact us athello@hundo.in.

2. What Hundo is

Hundo is a private app that reconciles the net worth you capture across your accounts, keeps your documents and renewal dates, and answers questions about your money. It is a record-keeping and organisation tool. It does not scrape your bank or EPFO, and it does not move your money.

3. Early access

Hundo is in early access. That means features may change, break, or be added, and the service is offered as is while we build it with you. It is free during early access. We may introduce paid plans later; if we do, we will give you clear notice before anything you have to pay for begins.

4. Your account and responsibilities

  • Use Hundo for your own family’s records, and only add people to your household who agree to it.
  • Keep your device, passkey and app-lock secure — they are how your vault stays private.
  • Make sure the information you capture is accurate; Hundo reconciles what you enter.
  • Don’t misuse the service — no attempting to breach security, disrupt it, or access another family’s data.

5. Not financial advice

Hundo shows and organises your own figures, marks investments to market from public feeds, and its assistant answers about your money. None of this is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Values are estimates for your convenience — always verify with your official statements before acting, and consult a qualified professional for advice.

6. Your data

Your data remains yours. We store it in India, never sell it, and redact sensitive identifiers before any AI call — as set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep Hundo available and accurate, but during early access we can’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the extent permitted by law, Hundo is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending use

You can stop using Hundo at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as Hundo evolves. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you directly. Continuing to use Hundo means you accept the updated terms.
